Truthfulness & Accuracy Attestation

TEMPLATE — NOT LEGAL ADVICE. This document is a starting template. Have a licensed attorney review and adapt it before you rely on it. Nothing here is legal advice, and the statutes cited are for general awareness only.

By accepting this attestation, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following.

1. You are responsible for the truthfulness of your information

Every fact in your profile, résumé, cover letters, and job applications — your work history, employers, dates, titles, education, degrees, certifications, licenses, skills, security clearances, work authorization, and any other representation — must be true, accurate, and not misleading. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and of any application you authorize this service to prepare or submit on your behalf.

2. This service does not fabricate

The tailoring engine is designed to reorganize, reword, and emphasize the information you provide — never to invent experience, credentials, employers, dates, or skills you do not actually have. Where a job requires something your profile does not support, the service is designed to identify that gap honestly rather than misrepresent your qualifications. You agree not to use the service to create false or misleading application materials.

3. Falsifying information can carry legal consequences

Knowingly providing false information on a job application, résumé, or related document can have serious consequences, which may include rescinded offers, termination of employment, and civil or criminal liability. Depending on the facts and jurisdiction, relevant laws may include, without limitation:

The applicability of any law depends on the specific facts and jurisdiction. This list is not exhaustive and is not legal advice. If you have questions about your situation, consult a licensed attorney.

4. Your attestation

By accepting, you attest that:

  1. The information in your profile is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge, and you will keep it accurate.
  2. You will review any résumé, cover letter, or application generated for you before it is submitted, and you are responsible for its contents.
  3. You will not use this service to create or submit false or misleading application materials.
  4. You understand that falsifying application information may violate federal and state law and may result in the consequences described above.
